Orchestration and Arranging

One of Harvey’s main passions is to orchestrate and arrange for modern contexts - both live and recorded - from a string quartet or horn section, to a full orchestra. Stylistic influences span from the likes of Gil Evans to György Ligeti. He prides himself on being able to realise an artist’s intentions, whilst also opening doors to the sound worlds and opportunities that traditional instrumentation in new contexts can provide.
